Exercising political "expression" or "oppression?"

Man tried to run over Katherine Harris, and when caught, he said:

"I intimidated them with the car. They were standing in the street." He added, "I did not run them down, I scared them a little! I was exercising my political expression."

Y'know, I was never aware that aggrivated assault with a deadly weapon was considered political speech.
